Jean Giraud, the french artist better known as Moebius , left the planet last week. We are all the poorer for it. Both Mikolaj and I are fans of his work, and Mikolaj prepared this tribute to a man who's legacy will last a long time. Although he did work on American comics, and lent his unique design sensibilites to many movies, his most interesting work was always his most personal - those slightly oblique, elliptical stories with somewhat trippy but always wildly creative imagery. If you haven't read his original stuff, I highly reccomend it.
