A special six-page series that Mikolaj cooked up, in which we speculate on just how Eric got his title. ^_^

The Tomb of Haggemoth - Cover
Mikolaj worked exceedingly hard to pass his Architectural Certification during November and December, but pass he did! Admittedly, the experience drove him a little 'round the bend, as his celebratory image indicates. ^_^ Congratulations, Mikolaj!

Mikolaj Passed!
Few have ever seen a true Sorcerer in the lands of Velagard, and fewer still are those who understand the arcane abilities that they wield. Though he has never satisfactorily explained how or why he acquired this bizarre gauntlet, Kells is wise to keep it under wraps when he can. Goth asserts that it marks Kells as "a Heretic of high order", and the strange and disturbing design of this artifact alone has caused many to shy away from him and treat him with suspicion. Whether those suspicions are unfounded or not, Kells is forced to live with the consequences: regardless of how the gauntlet wound up on his arm in the first place, at the present time he is quite unable to remove it...

Kells Gauntlet
Carved out of the great sea-cliffs along the treacherous and storm-wracked northern coast of Velagard, Devil's Bay is the only viable anchorage for many leages. The surrounding cliffs are rumored to abound with a myriad of sea-caves, home to pirates and smugglers since the town of Cliffport was first established. Lord Dolph Brasten is the current lord of Devil's Bay, and his demense includes not only the town, but all of the surrounding farmland and a good portion of the Kolen River Valley.

Cliffport and Devils Bay
Eric the Wolf has long had to live with a price on his head, as evidenced by this leaflet which was found nailed to a fence in Cliffport. Perhaps there is some clue here which might indicate one of the reasons that he remains at large, in spite of the fact that his bounty could easily feed a poor farming family for an entire season.

Dead or Alive
Per Goth is the representative of the Katellan faith in Cliffport, appointed by the High Priest in Kusken and awarded special credentials by the Justicar himself to be the sole spiritual arbiter for the province of Devil's Bay. It was he who ordered Kells to be burnt at the stake as a heretic. Nyssa's appearance during Kells' escape unnerved the priest, for he seemed to recognize her; and in the wake of the disturbance he prepared a report to be taken to the High Priest upon that very night.

A Letter from Per Goth
During the search for Wilhelm Brasten, the trail left by the Dark Children led to an ancient forest. At the base of the hill on the border of those woods was an ancient and half-buried ruin of a stone obelisk covered in obscure carvings. Sadly, Kells did not have the time to investigate it.

The Ruined Obleisk
Here's a chance to look over someone's shoulder: What exactly is this book? Who is reading it, and why? The answer may only raise more questions.

The Old Text
Wilhelm Brasten was tracked to a forgotten underground cavern, a prisoner of the Dark Children. Once the evil spawn were driven off, however, one mystery remained: a strange, well-like portal into unknown darkness. Staring into it's maw made Nyssa almost mad with fear, and the only clue to its history was an intricately carved stone which had obviously been meant to seal the fissure. Now that the seal is broken, who knows what horrors might issue forth?
