Bretonnians

Hailing from the Barony of Chartres, bordering the forest of Arden and the Pale Sisters, Southwest of Couronne. He carried the Standard for Noé de Chanterelle at the battle of Solly’s farm, where he was wounded while holding the flank. Though he courageously defended the Barricades prior to the attack on Les Halles, his men-at-arms deserted him and allowed the Skaven to destroy the town’s outer defense. He has sworn to cleanse this stain upon his honor.

Sir Paul de Murtarde
The second son of the Comte de Nantes in the Border Princes. As his older brother stands to inherit their father’s lands, Renaud hopes someday to earn the province of Bec as a holding for himself. An ambitious young man! Veteran of the battle of Solly’s Farm, he earned his spurs by participating in the rescue of the Knights who had been captured in that conflict.

Sir Renaud Houde de Nantes
Second son of a Magistrate from Rennes. His father and elder brother were slain by the Skaven in his youth before he moved to Bec, and he is eager for revenge against the rat-men. He was wounded while his unit held the flank at Solly’s Farm, then wounded again as he unsuccessfully tried to prevent the Skaven from burning the village of Profiteroles. Despite these setbacks, his thirst for revenge has allowed him to cheat death on two occasions so that he may once again confront the hated enemy.

Sir Corbin de Bec de La Chapelle
The first son of Sir Dorion of Parravon, a Knight of some reknown. Aloys seeks his fortune in the province of Bec. He helped Noé de Chanterelles hold the flank during the battle of Solly’s Farm, but was gravely wounded and had been taken prisoner. Thankfully he was later rescued and was able to resume the fight against the invaders.

Sir Aloys de Parravon
Oringinally a squire to a Knight of Quenelles. Gaspard was elevated to Errant when he and some other squires helped to save his master from certain death at the hands of a band of renegade Wardancers. He has no love for Elves. Has taken up the Grail quest following the battle of the Grove of Isoulde, following the example of his Captain, Aodhán de Carcassone. Ironically, his quest led him into Athel Loren, where he spent some time fighting against invading Beastmen - a sojourn he considers himself lucky to have returned from at all!

Sir Gaspard Rasale de Quenelles
The youngest son of a Middenheim Viscout, fostered to Justin le Rouge of Couronne. He has adopted the ways of Chivalry and pledged himself to this Errand. He has took up the Grail Quest following the battle of the Grove of Isoulde. A great admirer of the deceased Sir Percy the Upright, it was Uther who supervised the procession to bring Percy's remains home to Bec and who was inadvertantly responsible for the creation of Percy's travelling Grail Reliquae.

Sir Uther de Couronne
The Standard of the Griffons

The Unit Standard of the Griffons
Charles is a scholarly man who has a particular interest in the older Chansons. It is said he has committed the Chanson de Gilles to memory and he sings portions of it during battle. He carried the unit trumpet for Aodhán at the Battle of the Grove of Isoulde and has now undertaken the Grail Quest. His quest took him for a time into Araby, where he recovered a number of relics that had been lost during the crusades.

Sir Charles de Lyonesse
Ottone is the second son of Tilean Mercenary General Enrico Pedini of Kriegsburg in the Border Princes. He was fostered to the Comte de Nantes and originally came to Bec as a travelling companion to the Houde Brothers under the assumed name of Francois d'Armagnac. Unexpectedly he was moved to take up the Grail Quest following the battle of the Grove of Isoulde, and he took a vow of poverty. His father was at first rather shocked at the news, however he has since decided to support his son's decision: the trebuchet used by the Army of Bec is a gift donated by him.
