Bretonnians

The Grand Army of Bec de La Chapelle. Bretonnia was the first army I collected for Warhammer, mostly because I love the Heraldry. I was even inspired to build a rather large castle display piece for the army. Unfortunately it overshadowed the rather poor paint job on my original models, so when GW re-released the army, I decided to rebuild my force from the ground up. Because I like pain, I decided that instead of using decals I would paint all of the army's heraldry freehand.

The Bowmen of Bec. In addition to the new plastic bowmen, I used some older squire models, along with a few of the old commoner special characters: Hugo le Petit, Gui le Gros, and Jules le Jongleur.
